As-salam Alaykum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh,
MSSN Unilag extends you a warm welcome back to school, as you look to finish the semester on a high note.
We trust that you've had a rejuvenating holiday and are now geared up for the work that lies ahead.
The holiday is gone, and it's time to dive back into the academic grind.
The countdown has begun, with undergraduate exams looming just 35 days away.
As you fine-tune your convocation rice strategies, remember to allocate ample time to prepare for your upcoming examinations.
Here is your Monday Morning Tea, a motivational boost to kickstart your week and keep you focused on your academic pursuits.
Monday Motivation
"When life gives you Monday, dip it in glitter and sparkle all week," goes the saying.
Look at today not merely as the start of the week, but as a pacesetter for success. Establish your goals, raising the bar for the week ahead. As you achieve these milestones, you'll find that today's efforts will illuminate the entire week.
Approach today's tasks with zeal and determination, turning each sub-goal into a sparkling accomplishment. Remember, the dedication you show today sets the rhythm for the entire week.
Forgotten Sunnah
Do you sometimes get distracted or hear whispers during Solah?
It's Shaytan at work and you must fight back.
One of the companions, Uthman ibn Abi’l-‘Aas, complained to the Prophet about this problem.
He said, “O Messenger of Allah, Satan interferes between me, my prayer and my recitation, and he makes me confused.”
The Messenger of Allah said:
“That is a devil called Khinzab. If you feel that, then seek refuge with Allah from him (e.g ‘Audhu Billahi min-as-shaytaanir rajeem) and spit dryly to your left three times. He said: I did that and Allah took him away from me. (Muslim)”
Prophet Muhammad has indeed provided us with the weapons to fight all our battles in this Dunya. Peace And Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him.
